Doesn't hurt to: The first morning urine is often more concentrated and can give more reliable results early in pregnancy. If there's a chance you could be, it never hurts to test. However, the urine tests can be less reliable early in pregnancy. The test relies on chemicals made by the developing embryo/stalk and it must get to a certain size before enough is made to turn the test positive.
