Depends on: how soundly your baby sleeps and your sexual practices. If your baby is a light sleeper, your noises and actions could be frightening, and it would be a good idea to have your baby in a different room. Even infants that have been sound sleepers often start having more wakeful periods around 9 months and you may find it more difficult to make the transition to their own room after that time.
