Possibly.: Unfortunately, zyprexa (olanzapine) can cause obesity and metabolic problems. See your psychiatrist as there are other medications of the same type that do not affect your weight.

Zyprexa (olanzapine): Probably won't affect you. However, one of the side effects is an increase in appetite (mostly in teens though) so as long as you don't allow yourself to eat excessive amounts of food, you should be fine.
