Common/fatigue?: May be something called lateral femoral cutaneous nerve syndrome, sounds scary - simply a pinched superficial nerve from pants / belt too tight. Loosen them-it goes away over time. Do you keep your phone in that pocket? There's a real thing-phantom phone syndrome. Move the phone-goes away with time. If neither, these focal twitches usually disappear. If more areas or persist eval may be necessary.
