First of all: the type of arthritis must be determined. In general ASPIRIN is pretty much an accepted treatment (exception GOUT which may get worse with Aspirin) Suffices to say..get your joint pain evaluated first by your PCP then a referral to a RHEUMATOLOGIST may be advisable Hope this helps!] Dr Z
