Not HIV risk: This is not suspicious of HIV. It's unusual for MC to show up a year after sex, but might happen. Or you could have caught it is contact with a young child. Most MC infections occur in young kids, especially around the mouth or on the face. In any case, it isn't at all serious and does not suggest you are at risk for HIV. However, if potentially at risk for HIV, play it safe and get tested.
