Usually 3 months: If you were treated with one of the standard, recommended regimens (doxycycline, azithromycin), the standard recommendation is to be rechecked after 3 months, to detectboth reinfection and treatment failure. Sooner testing is needed if possibly reexposed, continuing symptoms, etc. Also OK if you want reassurance. But do not get retested sooner than 3 weeks after completing treatment.
