Mouth breathing?: If you have a stuffed nose because of an allergy or a cold and therefore you are mouthbreathing that would explain a dry mouth. Also if you are taking an OTC antihistamine that might also cause a dry mouth. In any case, you can use Biotene for relief of your symptoms.
