Consult prescriber: Cipralex (escitalopram) may take 2-4 weeks to produce effect. If it is not working by 6-8 weeks then it may require increase or it may not work at all. Review your symptoms with prescriber to determine if there may be some effect and therefore necessary to increase. If no benefit but you are having side effects then prescriber may change to another medication. Best regards for relief.
