My right hand just randomly started tingling out of the blue!! it hurt so bad. what could that possibly be?

Hand tingling: Hand pain and tingling may be due to carpal tunnel syndrome(pressure on nerves and vessels by thickened wrist ligament),blockage in an artery entering the hand, nerve impingement or carotid artery blockage at the neck or other areas in the arm or rarely brain pathology on the opposite side. See your physician or a neurologist if this symptom persists.
