Lining change: If there is white tissue inside the nose then it usually is a lining change, squamous metaplasia, that forms on an area that is constantly irritated. It is a protective response. Often there are yellow to bloody crusts that cover these areas because this area no longer can clean itself. Suggest saline 3x daily followed by sesame oil.
