See answer : There are many reasons for having light blood on toilet paper and/or having a missed/late period. Most important though is to rule out the possibility of pregnancy if you have been sexually active in the past 4 weeks or since your last normal period. A home pregnancy test is usually the easiest and most private way of checking for this. You can also see your MD or an OB-GYN MD for complete exam.
