A member asked:

Bad taste in mouth after heavy cold and antibiotics ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

That does happen: Very common. Antibiotics will disrupt the normal population of symbiotic bacteria in your mouth, gut, and skin. When they begin to come back, the dominant species may be different which can cause a funny taste like you describe. Or it could be due to cold medicine suppressing normal saliva production. Either way give it time, brush and floss, and it'll get better.
