I have a previously diagnosed cyst on my head. recently scabs have developed around it and i'm not sure why. is this cause for concern?

Depends: It is likely a sebaceous or epidermal inclusion cyst. Such cysts can rupture into the tissue or to the outside. It the cyst gets infected it could lead to complications. Have you considered getting it removed. It could probably be removed under local anesthesia. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
