Sexwithexnowregrets: What STI does he have (or thinks he has)?? the more common ones - chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis can easily be tested for and if negative - you don't have it. HIV and hep B/C and herpes also - if the test is negative then it is unlikely you have anything but should be repeated in 2-4 weeks to be certain. You need to know what he has and make sure you were tested for that one.

STI: It is good that your Tests are negative . It will be important to know about the STI your ex partner had. Is it chlamydia, gonorrhoea or something else. Please watch out for any new foul discharge , pain on intercourse . May need repeat testing if any new symptoms develop. Transmission of all infection may not be 100%. Follow up with GP may be required.
