Speak with your Dr: Diovan (valsartan) has been reported to cause rapid heart beat in 1 % of patients. According to VigiAccess, the WHO Programme for International Drug Monitoring, another ARB, Losartan, appears much less likely to cause rapid heart beat(tachyarrthmia).
