Nonreactive: Nonreactive means whatever the reagent that was used to detected certain protein( antibody) the test fail to detect it , which probably means a negative test; however, in HIV for example a test may be preformed too early before enough antibody is produced, consequently the test will be read as nonreactive or negative, yet the person can still be positive, in this case test needs to repeated later.
