List of thoughts.: A pain in that area could be one of a host of things. Hip joint pain. Muscular pain from the obliques (triggered by coughing). Appendicitis. Colitis. Hernia. Kidney stone. This should be evaluated, as the list of possibilities is too long from which to hazard a guess.
