Polio: pain ( and fatigue ) should be approached in a similar fashion to that experienced by someone without polio. Polio: Polio is viral . joint aches and pain can be relieved with symptomatic treatment with pain medications like paracetamol and NSAIDs ( burden).

Pain Meds/REST: Joint pain and Fatigue are signs of Post Polio Syndrome which comes years after a person was infected with polio virus and sustained paralysis or weakness of the extremities and other symptoms like breathing problem etc.The pain can be managed with over the counter or prescription pain meds and fatigue by enough rest and getting good sleep.Acute Polio pain can de treated with pain meds also
