Tests for Cancer: The tests for cancer include genetic testing when there is a family history of cancer, a good annual physical examination including a chest x-ray (or CTT Scan) in smokers, annual mammography, blood tests including tumor marker studies, examination of cells in phlegm, urine, vaginal secretions (Pap Smear), colonoscopy, and imaging studies like CAT scans/MRIs. Also fine needle aspirations+ biopsies.
