Should be done now: I see you posted your question an hour ago. If it hasn't stopped bleeding yet, call your surgeon. Use care when eating and gently keep your mouth clean.

Post extraction: I'm sure your Dentist or Oral Surgeon gave you both gauze and written instructions. The more infected your gums are the longer it will take for oozing to subside. Follow the written instructions. Most bleeding should subside before you go to bed tonight. Please call your Surgeon, the practitioner that knows you best, for additional post-treatment instructions.
