What are the symptoms of fibroids?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fibroids ?: "Fibroids" (leiomyomata) are almost always benign, and represent growths in smooth muscle, such as the uterus. These tumors may be stimulated by estrogen and can grow to very large size, so fullness, occasional heavy bleeding, discomfort, are the "symptoms". Fibroids of the uterus can also cause infertility, and non functional labor if pregnant. Consult a gyn for advice on treatment.
