See below : Genital warts most commonly involve the penis and perianal region and do not commonly involve the scrotum. HPV 6 and 11 most common strains. Usually occur 1-3 months after infection though HPV infection often not associated with visible warts or signs. Self-applied creams effective for treating small warts and freezing, lasering, excision by urologist or dermatologist for larger warts. Use condoms
