Mgt: The D Dimer and chest radiograph may not be fully accurate in the diagnosis of a thrombosis or embolism. With your symptoms, I would advise having a V/Q scan of your chest and another ultrasound of your lower extremities including upper legs. Other imaging can include a chest CT. Do you have any shortness of breath or other respiratory symptoms.
