Angular cheilitis: Most often associated with lost teeth resulting in a deep fold of skin at the corner of the mouth. Saliva drawn into the fold attacks the skin. This occurs mostly at night in bed. Try frequent application of vaseline [Aquaphor], at least 10x a day, especially at bedtime.
