Management: The infrequent occurrence would dissuade me from a preventative approach, and rather would opt for a medication to treat headache at time of event. Usually reluctant to use triptans one the age of 60, but a powder called Cambia, might work quite fully and rapidly, and could be taken with liquid in midst of nite.
