Nerve compression: neuritis may be caused by cervical spinal compression, disc disease or generalized neurological disorder. you must be examined and tested asap.

Considerations: Would consider possible nerve compression in neck, but the description raises question of brachial plexus compression syndrome, such as thoracic outlet syndrome or pectoralis minor syndrome. An EMG of the brachial plexus might confirm.
