I'm allergic to wheat, because of this i don't drink beer. is this really necessary? i'm 25 but have never had beer so i don't how it will affect me.

Likely not: Although it is possible that you may react the beer made from wheat, the amount of wheat protein is rather small in a glass of beer made from wheat. Unless you had an anaphylactic reaction to wheat (in which case you should see an allergist) you may first take a sip to find out if you have any reaction If no problem then you may work the amount up gradually. There are beer made without wheat also.
