Arm pain: If this is not a recent sprain or contusion, you might be dealing with tendonitis of the shoulder with radiation of discomfort down the upper arm. Often there is worsening pain on shoulder motions and tenderness present. Treatment consists of rest, cold or hot applications and anti-inflammatory medications like Advil or Aleve (naproxen).
