Behavioral changes: There are well-known hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy as well as behavioral changes. The problem is trying to prove causation of behavioral changes with hormone levels.

Can be: There are marked fluctuations in your hormones and women respond differently to these changes. Try to describe your feelings to your partner and explain to him that you are not frustrated at him, but rather, due to the hormonal effects and would like to have some alone time. Communication is key but it is important not to distance your partner either who may want to help you during the pregnancy.

See answer: Yes. The hormonal changes of pregnancy often contribute to the expectant mother becoming more moody than usual. *But if you are feeling very depressed or sad don't just attribute it to hormonal changes. As many as 1 in 4 women experience some clinical depression during pregnancy, and can benefit from treatment. See: http://bit.ly/1sNkajT Discuss this with your Dr
