Yes.....: Hopefully the coughing doesn't last too long. This isn't well studied but, any time the lungs become inflamed due to any reason, they become susceptible to further inflammation from EVERY reason. The previous irritation from GERD sets up susceptibility to the perfumes. Most long term asthma medicines help this but monteleukast might be the best.
