YES: When the Right Side of the heart fails due to untreated Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) the legs swell as well as the abdomen.... THIS IS NOW TREATABLE WITH PROPER MEDICATION(S) Consult with a Board Certified Cardiologist!!!!!! Hope this helps DrZ
