Tonsillar nodes: Lymph nodes under the corner of the jaw enlarge mainly to inflammation of the tonsils, and if they have not changed significantly for the past 9 years, it sounds like they are benign. It is wise, however, to have them checked out by your doctor, and also to evaluate if you have chronically inflamed tonsils.
