Athlete arrhythmia: Arrhythmias are not infrequently documented in athletes and can be a source of morbidity and mortality, particularly ventricular tachyarrhythmias leading to sudden cardiac death. Other types of arrhythmias are more benign. Having a history of syncope is concerning. Workup should at least start with a 12 lead ECG.
