Does not related to: Color of blood/spotting does not always correspond to severity of camps. Brownish discharge or color of blood usually appear by 1 st day of period and few days by the end. Cramps can be sometimes severe as a response to inflammatory normal reaction in endometrium ( lining of womb) .Sloughing of lining without much of fresh bleeding make a discharge more brownish. No worries.See MD if severe.
