Vaseline (petroleum: Petroleum jelly is well tried protective barrier that protects skin from chemicals present in urine and stool. Also keeps skin moist. Best when used after washing diaper area with plain warm water pat it dry and apply petroleum jelly. I don't know the contents of sudo cream therefore will not be able to comment about it's efficacy.
