Asthma, allergies?: Shortness of breath in the morning time only could be related to allergies and asthma, specifically allergy induced asthma. Pollen is more prominent in the morning hours. Could be related to indoor allergens in you home if you are exposed at that time. Could be exercise induced if you tend to exercise in the AM. Could be due to many causes, so please see MD.
