Anxiety disorders: Cause impairment in social and occupational functioning, and are not a single symptom of shortness of breath for example. If you’re experiencing symptoms that are impacting your life, or are extremely unpleasant, please seek an evaluation with a mental health provider such that appropriate treatment can be initiated. Good luck!
