Rapid Eyelid itching: Allergic reaction to the medications may occur after the injection such as itching, rash, etc. depending on the medications used. Usually they are mild/moderate, and can be treated with anti-pruritic medication. The pink at the injection site may be due to the needle injection and fade over a period of time unless it is severe. If the above symptoms persist, you need to contact your physician.

Comments: Occipital nerve blocks may well help migraine issues, but the process does not always go as smoothly as desired. You do not describe any serious issues, but nonetheless, notify the doctor who did the procedure, so that future interventions can be based upon these outcomes. I anticipate full resolution of these issues, spontaneously within 5 days.
