How many days before a (big) tattoo should i stop plavix (clopidogrel) and other blood thinning supplements (fish oil, bilberry extract, grape seed extract, etc.)?

Don't stop plavix!: First, check with your doctor who prescribes the plavix (clopidogrel) for you. If it is being taken for a heart stent that was placed less than a year ago, you CANNOT stop the plavix (clopidogrel) for any reason. Also, be very cautious about using ANY other supplements along with your prescription medicines, especially other blood thinners. Be sure your doctor knows exactly what you are taking, including supplements.
