No such term: I have never heard of the term statis dermatitis. Psoriasis is usually quite unique in its presentation with rather well-defined plaques on the skin. Is this diagnosis made by a dermatologist? Did you mean atopic dermatitis which is itchy, symmetrical , and often involves the crease at the elbows and behind the knees? In immunologic terms, psoriasis is 180 degree different from psoriasis.
