Is it ok to take benylin (dextromethorphan) mucus and phlegm even though it's a year over it expiration ?

Buy a new bottle: Is it ok? Only the manufacturer could reassure you that taking their expired product is safe. I would imagine that it has lost its potency and therefore you should purchase a new bottle. I hope you feel better!
