A member asked:

Every time i see a dr they say my bowels are backed up and i feel it. how can that be and i pooped out corn today that i ate yesterday?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Constipation: Sometimes the stool builds up so much in the large intestine that it becomes impacted along the walls of the large bowel. After that, a channel can form through the centre that allows watery stool to pass through. Corn is not well-digested by the body and can pass through whole. It is important to get plenty of fiber in your daily diet. Try prunes or other dried fruits, spinach and leafy greens.
