The maximum daily dose is 150 to 200 mg/day depending on the reason a person is taking the medication. Taking 100 mg three times a day (300 mg in a day) is not advisable, and dosing changes should be done under the supervision of a doctor. On the same note, if you’re finding that the dose currently prescribed is not providing you relief, you’ll want to let your doctor know that too.
