Acidity: Avoid foods that trigger more acid: fried/fatty/ greasy foods, chocolate, caffeine, spicy foods. Otc antacids, h2 blockers (zantac (ranitidine) et al), or ppis (prilosec/prevacid et al) may also help control symptoms, but should see doc for testing to r/o zollinger-ellison syndrome, helicobacter infection, etc.
