Just a guess: E usually indicate erythema or the red area around the wheal of a skin test. I would presume that this meant a 2+ reaction on the erythema. In allergy testing however it is the size the wheal and not erythema that counts the most. Perhaps this question can be better answered by the allergist who did the skin test.
