Pollen allergy?: If the swelling occurs only during the summer and you have documented allergy to pollen during the season, you may consider starting allergy shots during the off season to modify your allergic response to that pollen. I must admit that I have yet seen a case of pollen allergy-> angioedema. In the meanwhile, consider getting a HEPA filter or A/C for your home or at least the bedroom.
