A member asked:

Following dental anesthesia, i have experienced temporary eye weakness, ptosis of eyelid, diplopia but always on the contralateral side. why this side?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This concerns me: Am troubled by your description, as sounds like you have an issue with cranial nerve III, oculomotor, and this indeed could be associated with a problem at base of skull, such as an aneurysm, but could also be c/w a brainstem stroke. You need urgent MRI/ MRA. This has nothing to do with the dental event. Contact your doctor ASAP
