It's okay: The odor producing glands are linked to production of your adrenal glands and are separate from glandular changes we associate with puberty (that comes from pituitary/ovary). The only issue for those at age six is so few parents are ready.The instruction in use of deodorant opens the door to other discussions you can have about what to expect in the next few years.
