Yeast infection: If yeast infection persists in spite of repeated treatments, i suggest a visit to your gynecologist. Other vaginal conditions such as bacterial vaginosis or stds have similar symptoms. Conditions that can cause vulvar itching also include eczema, contact or irritant dermatitis, lichen sclerosus or lichen planus. On rare occasions there may be a yeast infection that is resistant to standard tx.

See your GYN: If you have use both of these medications without relief, see your gyn for further evaluation. You may have a different infection such as bacterial vaginosis or an std. You need an exam, wet mount and possibly cultures. Wishing you the best in health.

Wait a little: Sometimes the irritation will persist for a while even though the original infection has cleared, so the first thing is to be a little patient and observe longer. Second, you need to confirm the infection and rule out other causes for your symptoms and not simply blindly retreat. Finally, if a persistent infection is confirmed, longer and more aggressive treatment might be required.

Further evaluation: If that hasn't worked you probably should be seen to check for other non yeast reasons.
